The Third Gallery Aya was originally established in 1996 in central Osaka's No.3 Building.
The Third Gallery Aya initially showed photography exclusively, but has recently began exhibiting painting, video art, drawings and installations with photography. The Third Gallery Aya represents emerging and mid-career artists based in western Japan and working with the photographic medium in the international context of contemporary art. We aim to be an incubator of art in the Kansai region.
