We showcase richly unique contemporary art with high quality artistic expression in our dynamic exhibitions, which utilize our gallery space with 7m high ceilings.
Ranging from conceptual art by Hitoshi Nomura, work by Saburo Murakami and Norio Imai from Gutai and thereafter, fine art conceived from a unique craft approach by Yo Akiyama and Shihoko Fukumoto, from internationally acclaimed established artists to up-and-coming young artists, our gallery represents outstanding contemporary artists to both domestic and international audiences. We have also put work into coordinating the installation of public art, beginning with Kozo Nishino’s work in New York’s 4 World Trade Center, participating in international art fairs, selling to major museum and foundation collections, and publishing monographs of our artists. With this diversified approach, we strive to become a central source of the contemporary art of Japan.
